Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and the shopping experience is exceptional. You will handle stocking, backstock, and back-room organization while maintaining a clean store environment and supporting leadership.

This entry-level role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work overnight to prepare the store for daily operations. Prior experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must be comfortable working overnight shifts.
• Ability to learn and use basic technology.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back rooms.
• Work closely with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
