Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to join our Manitowoc store team. This entry level role focuses on stocking shelves, providing friendly customer service, and supporting merchandising to keep the store looking its best.

You’ll work with team members to move products from pallets to shelves, assist with back-room organization, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while aligning with store leadership to finish tasks on time.

Qualifications

• Entry level role with on-the-job training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of grocery items.
• Move products from pallets to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of packaging in back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Provide friendly service to customers when needed.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
