Job summary

Meijer in Ohio is hiring an entry-level Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude. This role includes stocking shelves, moving goods from pallets to shelves, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

You will work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead and gain exposure to merchandising, product knowledge, and customer service. Weekly pay and generous benefits are provided to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn processes and follow procedures.
• Comfort with manual tasks and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
