Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk in Mentor, OH to maintain stocked shelves and provide excellent customer service. You will stock products, move items from pallets to shelves, and keep back-stock areas organized.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and physical stamina, including overnight shifts to prepare the store for daily operations. Prior experience is not required, and Meijer rewards ongoing learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
