Sturtevant's in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Softgoods Supervisor to lead the softgoods sales staff and manage department inventory. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role focuses on greeting customers, building rapport, informing with product knowledge, and closing sales.

The position requires friendly, outgoing behavior, a passion for winter sports, and basic computer skills. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected to maximize ski season opportunities.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing and comfortable working with people.
• Love to ski or snowboard and some knowledge of how it all works.
• Have basic computer skills.
• English fluency, written and verbal.
• Flexible in schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in the store.
• Develop rapport with customers to understand their needs.
• Build trust through product knowledge and accurate information.
• Bring the sale to a successful close.
• Expand the sale by knowledge of accessories and related products.
• Operate the cash register to complete the sale.
• Merchandise the store by stocking shelves, counters or tables.
• Other duties as assigned.
