Sturtevant's is seeking a Hardgoods Sales Associate to help guests find the right skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings with expert product knowledge and friendly service.

You’ll provide bootfitting, share the latest gear trends, and maintain a welcoming in-store environment, ensuring guests leave confident and excited for mountain time. The role combines sales focus with customer care and teamwork in a ski retail setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail or sports equipment.
• Willingness to learn bootfitting and gear matching.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with ski/snowboard enthusiasm.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for hours.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide them to the right skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings.
• Provide personalized bootfitting for comfort and confidence.
• Share knowledge of gear and trends with guests.
• Keep displays clean, well-curated, and inviting.
• Create memorable experiences for beginners and experts alike.
• Support the team to keep the shop running smoothly.
