Job summary
Christy Sports is seeking a Softgoods Sales Associate to help guests look good, perform better and feel confident on the mountain. You will bring passion for skiing or snowboarding, eye for fashion, and knowledge of gear to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving sales and managing our softgoods collection.
You will welcome guests, share expertise on technical features and fit, process transactions, and restock and display gear.
Qualifications
- Outgoing and friendly, love talking gear and mountain style
- Enjoy skiing or snowboarding (or eager to learn)
- Flexible schedule including holidays, weekends, split shifts
- Stand for hours and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic computer skills for processing transactions
- Strong English fluency (written and verbal)
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with energy and enthusiasm, creating a fun and engaging shopping experience
- Connect with customers to understand their style, needs, and mountain goals
- Share knowledge about technical features, fit, and mountain performance
- Close sales with confidence while building authentic relationships
- Suggest complementary products and services to enhance adventures
- Master point-of-sale systems to process transactions smoothly
- Create eye-catching displays to showcase gear
- Manage inventory by restocking and organizing the softgoods collection
- Other duties as assigned
