Penn's Grove Middle School is seeking a passionate individual to lead our middle school softball program. The role focuses on player development, teamwork, and fostering a positive, inclusive team environment.

The coach will plan practices, organize games and tournaments, teach fundamentals, monitor progress, and communicate with players, parents, and staff while upholding school policies and academic goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous coaching experience at middle school or high school level.
  • In-depth knowledge of softball rules, techniques, and strategies.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred or must be obtained within a specified time frame.
  • A background check will be required prior to employment.
  • Availability to attend practices and games after school hours and on weekends.
