Buckhorn School is looking for a dedicated Middle School Softball Coach to develop and implement a comprehensive program for grades 6–8. This seasonal role emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, collaborating with administration, parents, and the community to foster a positive playing environment.

The ideal candidate will have coaching experience at the middle/high school level, strong softball knowledge, and excellent communication to motivate student-athletes.

Formación

• Previous coaching experience at the middle school or high school level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of softball techniques, strategies, and rules of the game.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred or must be obtained within the first month of employment.
• Must pass a background check and meet district requirements.

Summary

The Middle School Softball Coach at Buckhorn School will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive softball program for student-athletes in grades 6-8. This seasonal position requires a passionate individual who can inspire young athletes, foster teamwork, and promote sportsmanship while enhancing their skills and understanding of the game. The coach will work closely with school administration, parents, and the community to create a positive and engaging environment for all participants.

• Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring they are safe and in good condition for use.
• Serve as a role model for student-athletes by demonstrating a commitment to academic success and personal development.
