Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Soft Lines Merchandising Specialist to sort and prepare donated soft goods, hang and price items, and assist customers on the sales floor. You will organize merchandise by department, category, and size, and ensure backroom processing for efficient stocking.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Sort soft goods donations (clothing, linens, etc.) according to quality guidelines.
Hang sellable items and organize by department, category, and size.
Process donations in the backroom to prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
Price merchandise according to pricing guidelines and tag items.
Assist customers with basic questions about store operations and merchandise.
Assist with unloading donations and maintaining a clean, organized workstation.
Support product rotation and floor recovery to preserve a Full, Fresh, and Friendly shopping environment.
