Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Houston is seeking a Soft Lines Merchandising Specialist in Conroe, TX. You will sort donate goods, hang and organize merchandise by department and size, and process donations for the sales floor backroom.

You will follow quality guidelines and pricing standards to maximize profitability while supporting the GWH mission. The role requires standing, lifting up to 40 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs), and maintaining PPE usage while ensuring a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sorts donated soft goods by quality and category.
• Organizes items by department, size, and hangers.
• Prices and tags items according to pricing guidelines.
• Maintains clean, organized backroom and sales floor.
• Assists customers and answers basic store questions.
• Performs safety and housekeeping duties and reports incidents.
