Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a Soft Goods Designer for a 1-year on-site contract in Exton, PA. You will conceptualize and develop original designs for new soft goods products, crafting high-precision prototypes using industrial sewing machines and defining form, aesthetics, and user-product interfaces throughout the product lifecycle.

Collaborating with Industrial Design, Color & Trend, Fashion, Usability, and Craftsmanship, you will ensure designs align with brand guidelines and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in soft goods or fashion design.
• Formal patternmaking training and sewing prototype experience.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D design tools including vector/raster formats and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop original designs for new soft goods products and update existing lines.
• Use industrial sewing machines to create high-accuracy prototypes and samples.
• Define physical product attributes including form, aesthetics, and user-product interfaces.
• Manage workload and deliverables to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal design teams and cross-functional partners across Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure concepts align with brand and product architecture guidelines.

Located on-site in Exton, PA, this role provides the unique opportunity to conceptualize and develop new physical products that elevate everyday customer experiences.
