Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a Soft Goods Designer for a 1-year on-site contract in Exton, PA. You will conceptualize and develop new soft goods products, collaborating with design specialisms and cross-functional teams to define form, aesthetics, and user interfaces throughout the product lifecycle.

Requires a Bachelor's in Fashion/Apparel Design, 3+ years in soft goods or fashion, patternmaking training, sewing prototypes with industrial machines, and strong drawing/communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field.
• 3+ years in soft goods/fashion design.
• Formal patternmaking training (undergraduate-level).
• Sewing expertise with industrial machines.
• Strong sketching and visual communication.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of soft goods materials and DFM.
• Excellent English communication.
• Willingness to travel up to once per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop original soft goods designs.
• Create prototypes using industrial sewing machines.
• Define form, aesthetics, and interfaces for products.
• Manage workload to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Industrial Design, Color & Trend, Fashion, Usability, and Craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with domestic teams and global partners across Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure concepts and final designs align with brand guidelines.
