Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Suicide Prevention Coordinator to support SOF suicide prevention programming, reporting, and initiatives. The SPC will coordinate prevention and postvention efforts, promote evidence-based practices, and may provide clinical care when required.

U.S. citizenship is required with an active security clearance eligibility. The role may operate at multiple locations including Fayetteville, NC, with full-time hours and contract-based opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active MSW or MSSW degree and LCSW licensure required.
• Experience with military/SOF populations and suicide prevention programs preferred.
• Knowledge of DoD DoDI guidelines and SOCOM directives is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team and ensure adequate staffing for the program area.
• Serve as SME for suicide prevention policy and programming.
• Monitor compliance with requirements and report timely.
• Provide clinical supervision and direct mental health services as needed.
• Coordinate prevention/postvention activities across components.
