Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to oversee suicide prevention programming for active-duty SOF members at Fort Bragg, NC. The role involves reporting, policy development, and coordinating with military medical and command structures.

The LCSW will apply evidence-based therapies, supervise trainees, and support multidisciplinary teams to enhance prevention and postvention efforts across the component.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work required or equivalent
• Licensed independent clinical social worker (LCSW) with active license
• Experience with ethical standards in clinical social work
• Two+ years clinical social work experience in mental health setting

Responsibilities

• Oversee suicide prevention programming, reporting, and initiatives for active-duty SOF members
• Review research and integrate best practices into suicide prevention policy and activities
• Provide individual, family, group psychotherapy, couples therapy, and treatment evaluations
• Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, and military commanders as required
• Participate in military-specific training and SOPs; support reporting requirements
• Provide clinical supervision of unlicensed providers or trainees
• Coordinate with component suicide prevention programs and HQ USSOCOM POTFF
