Qualifications

• Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent from CSWE-accredited program.
• Licensed at independent level in clinical social work (LCSW) with active license.
• Experience in brief behavioral interventions.
• Minimum of two years peer-reviewed clinical social work experience in a mental health setting; government experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee suicide prevention programming, reporting and initiatives for active-duty SOF personnel.
• Review applied research and incorporate best practices into suicide prevention across the component.
• Apply social work techniques including individual, family and group therapy in evaluations and treatment.
• Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, commanders and school districts as required.
• Provide clinical supervision of unlicensed providers or trainees.
• Monitor reporting requirements and ensure timely accuracy.
