Job summary

Maximus seeks a Strength and Conditioning Specialist to support SOF personnel with evidence-based training, injury mitigation, and return-to-duty programming. You will design personalized and group protocols, teach proper techniques, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure safe, mission-aligned readiness.

Preferred candidates are in/near the listed locations and hold a Secret clearance or eligibility. This role is pending contract award and offers comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• CSCS or CSCCA certification required.
• CPR certification with AED training.
• Experience with NCAA Div I, professional, or SOF athletic environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with human performance systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership in day-to-day operations and compliance with contract rules.
• Analyze performance data to drive efficiency.
• Develop, supervise, and guide project staff and teams.
• Design, implement, and document physical training protocols for SOF personnel.
• Coordinate with Human Performance to support return-to-duty after injury.
