Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced SOF-space Integration Planner to support the National Space Defense Center at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. This embedded role will bridge SOF and space defense planning, shaping campaigns and BMC2 processes.

Required is active TS/SCI with poly, 7+ years of operational planning, and strong collaboration across DoD and IC partners. A security-cleared, mission-focused professional will thrive in this high-visibility position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in strategic studies, political science, military operations, aerospace, or related field.
• 7+ years of operational planning experience with or in direct support of Special Operations Forces.
• Experience with the Joint Planning Process (JPP), Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), and/or APEX planning framework.
• Working knowledge of space operations, space domain awareness, or space-enabled capabilities as they relate to SOF mission execution.
• Familiarity with Joint Publication 3-05 (Special Operations) and related SOF doctrine, campaign plans, and authority frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to produce operational-quality planning products – orders, CONOPs, COAs, briefings.
• Proficiency with classified networks and tools including SIPRNet and JWICS.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph required; #qinetiqclearedjob

Responsibilities

• Integrate SOF capabilities into NSDC operational plans and campaign plans.
• Develop COAs, CONOPs, and planning annexes for space-enabled operations.
• Coordinate with NSDC, USSPACECOM, TSOCs, GCCs, and NRO for SOF-space planning.
• Maintain awareness of SOF requirements in contested environments and feed I&W products.
• Interface with BMC2 architecture to integrate SOF mission requirements into command processes.
• Contribute to space domain awareness products and decision-support briefings.
• Identify SOF-unique ROE considerations affecting NSDC planning.
• Support NSDC experiments, wargames, and lessons-learned analyses.
