Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Psychometrist to support psychological and neuropsychological assessment services for active-duty members assigned to Special Operations Forces (SOF). The role involves administering and scoring standardized assessments under supervision to inform diagnostic formulation and treatment planning, aimed at enhancing cognitive readiness and performance.

Candidates should be prepared to work with a team of credentialed professionals, participate in eligibility and suitability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
• Minimum of two years related experience.
• Current LCSW or LMSW with license valid in state of practice.
• BCP certification within one year of hire, or waiver if supervised by an operational psychologist.
• Ability to work under supervision of mental health providers or POTFF leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of employees and ensure high performance.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage for assigned program area.
• Serve as subject matter expert for identified area of program knowledge.
• Ensure team meets contract and SLA requirements.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings when required.
• Perform assessment procedures under supervision of credentialed psychologist or related professional.
• Screen clients to determine concerns and appointment priority.
• Conduct basic assessment procedures including neuropsychological, intelligence and personality testing.
• Coordinate care with military agencies and treatment facilities.
• Document services in HP enterprise-wide platforms as directed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field

BCP credential or ability to obtain within 1 year
