Job summary

Modern Government Solutions seeks a skilled Physical Therapist, Human Performance to support the 125th Special Tactics Squadron in Portland, OR. You will apply clinical expertise to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance recovery for elite operators in austere environments.

You will collaborate with military teams, order appropriate imaging or referrals, and contribute to readiness programs while maintaining documentation in military health records.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state physical therapy license.
• Must hold and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must obtain and maintain clinical practice privileges.
• 5+ years of post-professional sports medicine experience with athletes or operators at high-level programs (NCAA DI, Olympic, pro, or Special Operations).
• Experience with manual therapy, dry needling, Graston Technique, and functional taping.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate musculoskeletal conditions with clinical privileges including imaging orders and referrals.
• Develop rehabilitation and pre-habilitation protocols to maximize operator readiness and safe return to training.
• Advise unit leadership on injury prevention, sports medicine, and rehabilitation; document all care in the Military Electronic Health Record and maintain readiness with SOF teams.
