Job summary

Choctaw Defense Services, Inc. seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support USSOCOM POTFF programs. The role provides behavioral health services within an operational unit, emphasizing resilience for SOF Warriors and families.

Responsibilities include individual, family, and group psychotherapy, crisis assessment, collaboration with medical and command staff, and documentation in EMR. Must hold MSW and an active US license; DoD experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MSW degree required and fully accredited by CSWE.
• Current, unrestricted clinical social work license in any U.S. state, DC, PR, or USVI.
• Maintain credentialing at a local Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
• Ability to obtain and maintain either Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Minimum of two years in independent clinical social work in mental health settings; government experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy; couples therapy; and evaluations for alcohol and drug treatment.
• Apply social work procedures including interviewing, assessment, and evidence-based therapies.
• Conduct research and clinical investigations in clinical, behavioral health, and organizational social work.
• Maintain accurate patient notes in EMR and prepare reports of evaluation and treatment.
• Collaborate with medical personnel, military commanders, and school districts as required.
