Spruce Mountain Primary School is seeking a Licensed Social Worker or related field. Experience in the treatment of children with knowledge of early childhood development and a willingness to work in a collaborative team environment helping to implement social emotional learning within the classrooms and support staff with trauma informed practices.

Supporting students and staff in using trauma informed practices for de-escalation.

Qualifications

• Maine State Law requires all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) for a Department of Education experience working with students with social and emotional challenges preferred.
• Appropriate Maine certification and / or licensure
• LSWxx, LSW, LCSW, Guidance Counselor, LCPC, LCPCC, or certification in a related field
