Job summary

Silverado Franklin is hiring a Director of Resident and Family Services (MSW) to lead psychosocial support for residents and families living with aging and memory impairment. You will guide care teams, advocate for residents and families, and collaborate across departments to improve quality of life.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Social Work, have at least one year of experience with older adults, and can engage with memory impairment groups.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with older adults.
• Experience with memory impairment and families is highly desirable.
• Experience with memory impairment organizations is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support residents and families in psychosocial challenges of aging and dementia.
• Promote the community to civic and memory impairment groups.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support residents and families in understanding and coping with the psychosocial challenges of aging and dementia
• Promote the community to civic and memory impairment-related groups, reflecting Silverado’s mission and quality of care
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluations of team members under your supervision
• Maintain continuing education through academic studies, seminars, and workshops
• Participate in in-services, staff meetings, and case conferences
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work required
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with older adults
• Experience supporting individuals with memory impairment and their families highly desirable
• Professional or volunteer experience with memory impairment organizations helpful
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and outreach needs
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working in an environment with animals and pets
• May be required to work outside of regular hours depending on business needs

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday

Anticipated pay range: $80,000 — $90,000 USD
