Job summary

Silverado Franklin is seeking a Director of Resident and Family Services (MSW) to lead care teams and support residents and families through aging and dementia. The role emphasizes compassionate leadership, interviewing and evaluating staff, and ongoing professional development.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support residents and families in understanding and coping with the psychosocial challenges of aging and dementia
• Promote the community to civic and memory impairment-related groups, reflecting Silverado’s mission and quality of care
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluations of team members under your supervision
• Maintain continuing education through academic studies, seminars, and workshops

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting individuals with memory impairment and their families highly desirable
• Professional or volunteer experience with memory impairment organizations helpful
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and outreach needs
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working in an environment with animals and pets
• May be required to work outside of regular hours depending on business needs

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday

Anticipated pay range

$80,000 - $90,000 USD
