Job summary

Silverado Franklin, a memory care innovator, is hiring Caregivers to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory-impairing conditions. This role blends empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments every day.

You will join a compassionate team in a memory care setting, with paid training, benefits, and opportunities for growth. The schedule is Full Time, AM shift, Tuesday - Saturday, with a pay range of $18–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory-related care is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance standards.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Physical ability to assist with activities including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
