Job summary

Clarion Psychiatric Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Social Worker to perform psychosocial assessments, provide individual, group, and family therapy, and contribute to the treatment plan. The role requires collaboration with the treatment team and coordination with agencies for discharge and aftercare.

Master’s in Social Work is required, with LCSW/LSW preferred. Inpatient experience is valued, and UHS offers a comprehensive benefits package to support staff

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work required or above.
• LCSW or LSW preferred for this role.
• Strong background in psychosocial assessments and therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments of patients’ mental health.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy as needed.
• Active participation on the treatment team and contribute to the master treatment plan.
• Develop realistic and measurable short- and long-term goals for patients.

Responsibilities

Clarion Psychiatric Center is currently recruiting for a Social Worker. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Clarion Psychiatric Center and the NASW. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient’s mental health; individual, group, and family therapy; active participation on the treatment team; lead role in the development of the master treatment plan; developing realistic and measurable short and long term goals; and assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Social Work or related field required. LCSW or LSW preferred. At least one year of inpatient hospitalization work experience preferred.
