Clarion Psychiatric Center is recruiting a Social Worker to provide clinical social work services consistent with NASW standards. The role includes psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, and leading the development of the master treatment plan.

The Social Worker coordinates with other agencies for discharge and continuing care plans. The position emphasizes active participation on the treatment team and developing measurable goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work from an accredited college.
• LCSW or LSW preferred.
• Minimum inpatient hospitalization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients' mental health.

Responsibilities

Clarion Psychiatric Center is currently recruiting for a Social Worker. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Clarion Psychiatric Center and the NASW. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient’s mental health; individual, group, and family therapy; active participation on the treatment team; lead role in the development of the master treatment plan; developing realistic and measurable short and long term goals; and assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.
