Job summary

A community health care provider in Mount Joy is seeking a Social Worker for their Inpatient Center. In this per diem role, the Social Worker will provide essential social work interventions and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and caregivers during challenging times. Candidates must have an MSW and be willing to obtain necessary licenses, alongside a preference for those with experience in health care settings. This position offers flexibility in hours and robust support for professional development.

Qualifications

• MSW required; LSW or LCSW license within 2 years of hire.
• Two years’ experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Complete 4–5 weeks of full-time orientation.
• Must work a minimum of 64 hours per two-week pay period.

Social Worker – Inpatient Center

Per Diem – as needed

Day Shift (8am – 5pm)

This role works in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team to provide social work interventions, education, counseling and support services to address the identified psychosocial needs of patients and caregivers.

Requirements

• MSW required; LSW or LCSW license must be obtained within 2 years of hire date.
• Two years’ experience in the health care setting preferred. Must be able to complete 4–5 weeks of full-time orientation.
• Must work a minimum of 64 hours per two-week pay period.
• Must work a minimum of 40 hours per two week pay period.
