Qualifications

• Two years of experience equivalent to Social Worker II in Solano County or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree with coursework in social welfare, sociology, psychology, counseling, gerontology, or related field.
• MSW or two-year graduate-level counseling degree with supervised fieldwork or internship; active enrollment with degree conferred within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Perform casework involving legally mandated matters affecting children.
• Investigate abuse/neglect cases and develop service plans to promote safety.
• Assist clients in securing housing and accessing supportive services.
• Collaborate with probation, law enforcement and other agencies to promote community safety.
• Work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
