Job summary
Contra Costa County's EHSD and Public Defender's Office seek Social Worker II professionals to support social services and justice-involved clients. Work includes complex caseloads, evaluating needs, and coordinating care with families and individuals across multiple bureaus.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work or related field required.
- Bachelor's degree with three years' social caseworker experience may substitute for education.
- Experience with case management and coordination across services preferred.
Responsibilities
- Write biopsychosocial reports and assessments.
- Identify and connect clients with available community services.
- Recognize issues impacting client involvement in systems.
- Develop plans to reintegrate clients into communities after involvement with the justice system.
- Advocate for community-based solutions as alternatives to custody.
