Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated school social worker for a full-time, on-site role at Edgmont Scholars Academy (middle) and Chester Upland School of Arts (elementary) in Pennsylvania. Begin ASAP; contract runs through June 10, 2027 with two openings.

You will provide social-emotional support, conduct assessments, and coordinate with educators to strengthen the school community.

Qualifications

• School-based social work experience is required.
• Active PA MSW license and PA School Social Worker certificate or PDE-accepted alternative.
• Ability to obtain PA clearances and work in an urban school setting.

Job description

Make a lasting difference in the lives of students as a full-time school social worker supporting local elementary and middle schools. This contract position offers you the opportunity to work onsite with a diverse student population, providing critical social-emotional support and connecting families with resources.

You’ll work a consistent weekday schedule, 8:30AM-4PM, with assignments at both Edgmont Scholars Academy (middle school) and Chester Upland School of Arts (elementary), through June 10, 2027. There are two openings available, and the anticipated start date is ASAP—perfect for experienced professionals ready to jump in and make an immediate impact.

What we’re looking for:

• School-based social work experience is required
• Active MSW license in Pennsylvania
• Must hold a valid, active PA School Social Worker Educational Specialist certificate (needed for an emergency permit), OR
  • Hold LSW or LCSW and be enrolled in a PDE-approved social worker program
• Ability to obtain and complete all PA clearances as required
• Comfortable and competent working in an urban school setting
• Willingness to complete disclosure of district as part of initial application
• Ready for a Zoom interview and cleared background process prior to start
