Qualifications

Job description

Step into a pivotal, rewarding school social work position serving students in a vibrant, urban community. Two full-time contract opportunities are available, supporting either a middle or elementary school. With a start date as soon as possible and a schedule of 37.5 hours per week (8:30AM-4PM), youll play a vital role in student well-being throughout the academic year, concluding June 10, 2027. All work is conducted onsite, allowing you to make a tangible impact every day.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active Master of Social Work (MSW) license in Pennsylvania required
• Prior school-based experience essential
• Satisfy one of the following:
  • Hold a valid, active PA School Social Worker Educational Specialist certificate (also necessary for obtaining an emergency permit)
  • OR: Hold an active LSW or LCSW credential and be enrolled in a Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) approved social worker program
• Ability to obtain or complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Comfortable and motivated to serve in an urban school setting
• Must be able to participate in a Zoom interview
