Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System in Onalaska, WI is hiring a full-time Behavioral Health Social Worker to provide assessment, planning, education and referral services within the Behavioral Health department and to support care across the system.

This 1.0 FTE role works Monday–Friday, 80 hours every two weeks, with no weekends or holidays, and starts at $25.95/hour, with higher pay for relatable experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work required.
• WI Social Worker license must be active prior to start date.
• 1 year of direct patient contact; interview/supportive counseling experience; crisis intervention experience.

• Assess incoming referrals, schedule appointments, coordinate patient care, provide or assist with crisis intervention, meet with patients, facilitate/co-facilitate groups, and assist with programming needs.

Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is now hiring a full-time Behavioral Health Social Worker in Onalaska! Social Workers provide assessment, planning, consulting, education and referral services to Emplify Health patients and family members as well as act as consultants and leaders in comprehensive care throughout the system, while supporting organizational strategies and goals.

What you will work:

• 1.0 FTE = 80 hours every 2 weeks
• Monday – Friday, core business hours. No weekends or holidays.
• Location: Onalaska, WI

What you will do:

• Social Worker in the department of Behavioral Health is responsible for any of the following:
  • Assess incoming referrals, schedule appointments, coordinate patient care, provide or assist with crisis intervention, meet with patients, facilitate/co-facilitate groups, and assist with programming needs.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or in a related field
