Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Social Worker 1 or Forensic Social Worker 1 (commonwealth titles) with continuous employment; or
• Two years as Social Worker 1 with a bachelor’s in social work or social welfare; or
• Two years of professional social work with a bachelor’s in social work or social welfare; or
• A master's degree in social work or social welfare; eligible within 3 months of graduation.

Responsabilités

• Case Management: Assess inmate needs, strengths, and coordinate services.
• Counseling Support: Provide counseling and crisis intervention for inmates and families.
• Program Coordination: Develop and coordinate social service programs with DOC and partners.
• Reentry Planning: Assist with parole planning, discharge, and continuity of care.
• Community Collaboration: Communicate with families and community agencies for reintegration.
• Policy Compliance: Apply social work laws and policies in daily operations.
