Job summary

Clarion Psychiatric Center, a Universal Health Services facility, seeks a Social Worker to deliver clinical social work services, perform psychosocial assessments, and provide individual, group, and family therapy as part of the treatment team.

You will lead the development of master treatment plans and coordinate discharge and continuing care with partner agencies; a Master's in Social Work is preferred, with LCSW/LSW and inpatient experience favored.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• LCSW or LSW licensure preferred.
• At least one year of inpatient hospitalization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments of patients.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as part of the treatment team.

Responsibilities

Clarion Psychiatric Center is currently recruiting for a Social Worker. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Clarion Psychiatric Center and the NASW. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient's mental health; individual, group, and family therapy; active participation on the treatment team; lead role in the development of the master treatment plan; developing realistic and measurable short and long term goals; and assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.
