Job summary

Tennessee Board of Regents invites applicants to serve as Social Work adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or other off-campus centers. Initial assignments may change each semester, with duties including coursework, student evaluation, and timely reporting.

Instructors will be certified to use the eLearn system for all classes and participate in required meetings and communications with the chair/dean.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Social Work.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel required.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses for Social Work at Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
• Use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes and attend required meetings; report attendance and final grades by deadlines.
• Coordinate curriculum needs with assigned chair/dean and communicate changes as appropriate.
