Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College in Tennessee invites applicants for English adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at a teaching location, but the official work station assignment may change each semester.

The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned English courses for day, evening, and online classes in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning; maintain class records; submit required reports on time.
