Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants to teach psychology as adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes at Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or other off-campus centers. The successful candidate will use the eLearn system, attend required meetings, and report attendance and final grades by deadlines.

Position reports to the Chair of Humanities/Social Sciences and the Dean of Arts, Sciences, & Technologies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
• 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned psychology courses in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials.
• Evaluate student learning and maintain class records; submit required reports on time.
