Georgia Pines MitchellCounty Mental Health Outpatient program is currently seeking a real leader, someone who has the passion, commitment, talent, and ability to work collaboratively with their peers to continue to advance the mission and vision of the organization.
The selected applicant will have the pleasure of providing a broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers and their families. In addition, with conducting patient/client/consumer intakes, participates in treatment team planning, and performs crisis intervention. Additionally, the applicant may assist in dealing with personal and social problems. Select applicant may provide supportive counseling to consumers and families and/or serve as a liaison for social services and perform case management duties.Provides individualized interventions based on client's needs. Assists clients with enhancing and developing social and coping skills. Provide crisis intervention, short term case management, and referral services to clients with emergency situations.Provides supports based on client's needs in order to promote resiliency while understanding the effects of the emotional disturbance and/or substance use disorder and to promote functioning. Serves as the primary coordinator for behavioral health services and provides linkage to community; general entitlements, medical services, crisis prevention and intervention services.

High school diploma or GED and two years' experience in a social service-related position Or Bachelor's degree in a social service-related field Or One year at the lower level or position equivalent.
