Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division Dakota, Scott, and Carver Counties 360 Life Center in Burnsville, MN is hiring a Social Services Assistant to support day-to-day service delivery and connect people with community resources.

You will respond to inquiries, assist participants, complete clerical tasks, and help run programs and events alongside staff, volunteers, and community partners. This is a 32-hour per week, on-site position with a pay range of $17.23 to $21.54 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in social services or clerical work.
• Must pass background checks.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and assist participants with information about services.
• Complete forms, data entry, and other clerical tasks.
• Support programs and events, including food shelf operations.
• Coordinate volunteer scheduling and community resources.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
