Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division Anoka County 360 Life Center in Blaine, MN seeks a Social Services Assistant to respond to inquiries, assist participants, and handle administrative tasks. This part-time position supports programs and events and collaborates with staff, volunteers, and community partners.

The role focuses on information and resource assistance, participant support, and program operations, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in social services or clerical work preferred.
• Must pass required background checks.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and assist participants with information and referrals.
• Assist participants with forms, documents, and program information.
• Support program and volunteer activities, including food shelf operations and senior nutrition initiatives.
• Provide general administrative support and data entry.
