Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Social Services Director in Bradley, IL to oversee the Social Services Department and ensure residents' psychosocial needs are met in compliance with laws and regulations.

The role requires directing assessments, developing care plans, and maintaining strong relationships with medical professionals and facilities. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered to new leadership providing impactful service.

Qualifications

• Two years of job-related experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Experience with social work, preferably working directly with patients and their family members at a nursing facility.
• Detail oriented, computer literate and possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the Social Services Department, and identify and provide for residents social, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Accurately assess, document and provide interventions to meet psychosocial needs of all residents.
• Develop care plans based on assessments.
• Maintain a quality working relationship with the medical profession and other health related facilities and organizations.
