Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• If degree is in social work, must be licensed by state board
• Previous social services experience required
• Must pass background checks
• Valid driver’s license and meet MVR requirements preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide participants with direct assistance (e.g., foodshelf, Heatshare, vouchers)
• Conduct long‑term strength‑based, person‑centered case management for POH participants
• Maintain up-to-date participant information in casefiles and through database entry
• Facilitate individual and group educational activities
• Assist with seasonal and special events
• Recruit qualifying POH participants and promote services within the community
• Engage in internal activities to promote POH goals and objectives
