The Salvation Army Lewiston Corps is seeking a Social Services & Administrative Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to the Department Head and assist in coordinating crisis services for individuals and families. You will handle eligibility determinations, material assistance, referrals, and data management, while supporting corps officers and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow The Salvation Army policy for funding dispersal.
• Ability to interview clients and determine eligibility for assistance.
• Experience with data entry and maintaining records with confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Respond to client questions through walk-in, email, and phone requests.
• Determine eligibility for assistance based on established guidelines.
• Prepare material assistance for clients and coordinate with the thrift store and food pantry.
• Work with volunteers to interview clients and prepare assistance types.
• Coordinate with agencies for up-to-date information and provide referrals.
• Attend workshops and meetings and ensure accurate data entry for services.
