Disability Law Group in Troy, Michigan seeks a Social Security Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for prospective disability clients. The role is fast-paced, phone-intensive, and requires empathy, accuracy, and the ability to gather essential information quickly.

You will manage calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate with Attorneys and Case Managers, while maintaining compliant intake records.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in fast-paced, client-facing roles such as legal or healthcare intake.
• Bilingual Arabic/English strongly preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of calls, intake appointments, follow-ups, and client communications.
• Conduct detailed intake conversations to gather medical, work, and eligibility information.
• Ask clarifying questions and ensure accurate documentation of all client interactions.
• Determine whether matters are new applications, pending claims, or need escalation.
• Coordinate with attorneys, case managers, and team members for timely handoffs.
• Maintain complete intake records and follow up on missing information.
• Work within CRM and case-management systems; adhere to scripts and procedures.
• Provide empathetic, solutions-focused service reflecting DLG core values.
• This is a full-time role with hybrid in Troy, MI and training requirements.
