Qualifications

• Portfolio of social-first video work demonstrating end-to-end execution.
• 2+ years of experience creating social content for brands or organizations.
• Experience producing short-form video from concept to editing.
• Proficiency with native social creation tools and video editing software.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Experience using content performance data to guide experiments.
• Ability to identify trends quickly while preserving brand voice.

Responsibilities

• Create entertaining, distinctive social content for target audiences.
• Develop fun, educational content aligned with Duolingo’s mission.
• Conceptualize, script, storyboard, shoot, and edit short-form videos.
• Produce content for campaigns including creator collaborations.
• Collaborate with Social, Brand, Design, Product, and other teams.
• Run content experiments, analyze results, and apply learnings.
• Monitor platform trends to identify timely opportunities.
