Job summary

DeWinter Group seeks a Social Media Creator to lead the brand's digital presence. You will craft platform-native videos and engaging stories across TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and more, acting as the face and voice of the brand.

You'll develop content strategies, manage calendars, and engage audiences in fast-moving digital spaces, while collaborating with teams to translate trends into authentic narratives.

• Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite for video and graphic content.
• Experience using social media management tools (Sprinklr, Plot).
• Confident on-camera presence and ability to produce self-shot content.

Join an innovative team as a Social Media Creator and be the driving voice behind a new brand's digital presence. This dynamic role blends content creation, real-time community engagement, and on-camera storytelling to launch and grow impactful social channels from the ground up. As the face and voice of the brand, you'll develop compelling content strategies, produce platform-native videos, and foster authentic audience connections across channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and more. Your creativity will energize brand growth, capturing cultural trends and translating them into engaging social narratives that resonate and build loyalty in fast-moving digital environments.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in social media management and content creation, with a robust portfolio of original, platform-native work
• Strong proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects)
• Skilled in social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Plot)
• Confident on-camera presence and ability to produce self-shot or lo-fi content
• Exceptional copywriting with adaptable tone, humor, and messaging skills
• Deep knowledge of social platforms, community management, and internet culture
• Ability to quickly identify trends and leverage cultural moments authentically
• Experience managing editorial calendars while responding to real-time opportunities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience launching and scaling new brand channels
• Experience with video editing, voiceovers, and reactive content formats
• Familiarity with emerging social platforms and tech trends

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in media, communications, marketing, or related fields
• Experience as a storyteller and content creator with a platform-native focus
• Comfortable appearing on camera and independently producing engaging content

Other Requirements:

• Hybrid work environment – San Diego, CA (3 days onsite per week)
