Role Mission: To lead and oversee the Social Media Squad for the Rescue, ensuring timely posts that highlight our mission, gathering team feedback to enhance engagement, and monitoring analytics to continuously improve our outreach and impact.
Summary: The Social Media Squad Lead is responsible for managing all social media platforms, ensuring content is consistently and accurately posted to reflect the Rescue's mission and activities. This leader will guide the Social Media team, foster collaboration, gather feedback, and work with the Digital Marketing Pack Leader and the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to execute the overall marketing strategy. They will ensure alignment with broader marketing goals, monitor analytics to optimize performance and engagement, and amplify our message to engage the community and support our rescue efforts.
Rescue Mission: At Path of Hope Rescue, we aim to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest for adoption. We are 100% foster-based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission.
Vision: Eliminating euthanasia of dogs in the South by reducing unchecked breeding. Becoming the top dog destination in Spokane and leveraging Spokane's love for Rescue Dogs.

Job Description
The Social Media Squad Lead is responsible for maintaining a professional, on-brand online presence for our rescue. They will execute the Digital Marketing strategy across social platforms, lead campaign efforts, and foster team accountability and motivation. This role involves staying involved in rescue operations to ensure social media content accurately reflects ongoing work. Collaboration is key: working closely with the Social Media Squad, other Digital Marketing team leads, and divisions like Multimedia, Fundraising, and Events to develop impactful marketing strategies. The leader will stay current with social media trends, analyze data to refine strategies, increase engagement, and report findings to inform broader marketing decisions, including running A/B testing campaigns to optimize content performance.
