Job description

At KI, we believe knowing our customers helps us serve them better. We listen. We observe. We understand that each customer has unique needs. So, we pride ourselves on helping our customers make smart furniture decisions by offering expert advice, design options and personalized solutions. Since 1941, we've positioned KI as the furniture company that best understands the furniture industry and is committed to providing customers with the smart solutions. By targeting specific markets with solutions for business furniture, university furniture, educational furniture, healthcare furniture and government furniture, we can quickly respond to our customers' unique needs - including the choice to procure furniture according to what fits their ordering and fulfillment process. That's why we say we offer far more than furniture. We're Furnishing Knowledge.

Job Overview:

Turn scrolls into stories. And stories into results . . .

At KI, social media is more than a publishing channel. It's where we build our brands, connect with the architecture and design community, showcase the spaces and products shaping how people work, learn, and heal-and increasingly, where we turn attention into measurable business impact.

We're looking for an experienced Social Media Marketing Specialist to work from our Corporate Office in Green Bay, who knows how to make that happen. We're looking for someone who has built and grown brands through social media and can show us what worked. You understand the creative side of social-the hook, the story, the visual, the trend-but you're equally comfortable digging into performance data, testing new approaches, optimizing paid campaigns, and explaining why something performed.

You’ll lead the day-to-day social media strategy and execution for KI, Pallas Textiles, and KI Wall, three distinct brands serving the commercial architecture and interior design industry. From developing channel strategies and content calendars to creating campaigns, managing communities, analyzing performance, and identifying emerging opportunities, you’ll have significant ownership over how our brands show up on social.

If you’re equal parts strategist, creator, analyst, and social-media obsessive, we’d love to see what you can bring to the team.

You will own the Social Strategy, create content people actually want to engage with, grow our brands - and prove it, and bring Paid + Organic together. You will be our eyes and ears on social and help raise the bar by providing guidance to teammates and junior resources, help establish smarter, more scalable ways of planning, creating, publishing, measuring, and optimizing social content.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • 5+ years of professional social media, digital marketing, or marketing communications experience, ideally within a brand, agency, or similarly sophisticated marketing environment.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing social media strategies for established brands.
  • A portfolio or body of work that demonstrates strong social content, campaigns, channel growth, engagement, or other measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of both organic and paid social media, with hands-on paid campaign management experience highly preferred.
  • Experience developing and optimizing content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Strong knowledge of social analytics and the ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with social media publishing, listening, analytics, and advertising platforms.
  • Excellent writing skills and a strong visual eye; you know what makes content feel polished, contemporary, and right for the platform.
  • Experience with video and short-form content and an understanding of how creative requirements differ by platform.
  • Confidence presenting ideas, performance insights, and recommendations to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong project-management skills and the ability to keep multiple brands, campaigns, stakeholders, and deadlines moving at once.
  • Curiosity about emerging platforms, creator content, AI-enabled tools, and the continually evolving ways people discover and engage with brands.
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
Portfolio Requirement:

Please include a link to your portfolio, social media work, or relevant campaign examples with your application. We’d especially like to see work that demonstrates your role in the strategy and execution, along with measurable outcomes where available.

  • Participation in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): As an employee, you will have stock ownership in the company.
