Based in Malibu with a remote team across the U.S., Vivid Candi is a full-service marketing and advertising agency with over 25 years of experience. We’re a bold, creative, and innovative firm serving clients in hospitality, tourism, lifestyle, and beyond. Our team blends art with data, aesthetics with performance, and we’re always one step ahead of trends—whether that’s AI, TikTok, or the next emerging platform.

We’re now looking for a Social Media Manager who brings both left-brain strategy and right-brain creativity. Someone fluent in the language of content, community, and conversion—who lives and breathes social.

What You’ll Do
  • Create & Execute Strategy: Develop and lead social media strategies that drive client goals—follower growth, brand visibility, and engagement.
  • Account Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients. Lead Zoom calls, pitch ideas, present analytics, and build trusted relationships. Use project management tools (like Basecamp) to ensure deadlines are met and campaigns stay on track.
  • Design & Manage Content: Plan, design, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms. This includes posts, stories, reels, and short-form video—tailored to each brand's voice and aesthetic.
  • Engage & Grow Community: Be the voice of our clients. Proactively manage engagement, build relationships, respond to comments, and grow audiences organically.
  • Influencer Marketing: Identify, vet, and collaborate with influencers and creators to support campaign goals. Coordinate partnerships, manage communications, and track results to maximize brand impact and reach.
  • Use Modern Tools & Tech: Utilize CapCut, Canva, Photoshop, and ChatGPT for editing, ideation, and content creation. Stay sharp on trends, platforms, and tools that give our clients an edge.
  • Report on KPIs & ROI: Track and share performance metrics, adapting strategies based on what works—and what doesn’t.

  • A Community Builder: You value authentic engagement over vanity metrics. You know how to grow an audience that sticks around.
  • An Excellent Communicator: Whether it's writing a killer caption, presenting to a client, or collaborating with a teammate—your communication is clear and confident.
  • An Innovator at Heart: You’re excited about AI tools like ChatGPT. You bring fresh, bold ideas to the table—and you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years managing social media for brands (agency experience preferred)
  • Proven results in content creation, engagement growth, and campaign strategy
  • Experience with influencer/creator marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, and optionally Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience using ChatGPT or similar AI tools for writing, ideation, and design support
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills (Basecamp experience is a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with reporting on social KPIs
  • Experience running Meta and TikTok ads is preferred
